Val as Your
Martial Arts Coach
You have seen the amazing power that
Val is capable of via his blended form of Russian Martial
Arts (a combination of boxing, samba and systema) but what
you may not realize is what you can really learn from him
is far more powerful. Via his KGB, Special Forces
and Martial Arts training, Val has become an expert in
what he calls the psychology of confrontation. The
use of this knowledge is combat is pretty easy to
understand but its' larger power lies in typical day to
day life.
Think about it, it is good to train
to defend yourself, to walk with confidence and to know
you can handle yourself if you are attacked. Yet
millions of people walk the earth for their time of birth
to their death as an old man or woman and are never forced
to throw a punch to defend themselves. We train as
fighters so we can fight if we have to, so so we can go
find a fight to be part of. Just like in the old
saying, "no one hates war more then a solider".
Yet every day we come into situations
that are "combat" type situations. We come
into them in relationships, business and basically every
walk of life. There is no person alive that has not
felt intimidated, pushed around or regretted allowing a situation
to occur that fear stopped them from changing.
Val's philosophy is that fear is not
your enemy, it is your friend. When you channel it,
understand it and make it work for you it allows you to
survive combat regardless of the form of combat you
encounter.
With this understanding you can:
- Achieve better results in negotiations
- Be a better friend to those you
care about
- Understand business from more
angle
- Learn to use sufficient not over
whelming force
- Not be intimidated by strong
personalities or those in positions of authority
- Disarm assertive and aggressive
people with no apparent effort
These are the true combat scenarios
we all have many times in our lives. Many times how
we do or do not respond to these situations end up having
a lot more impact on us then simple fist fight. They
can impact our stations in life, our business success and
even our most personal relationships.
Think of this as "The Art of
War" for the 21 Century. Val is available for
one on one coaching and personal training or group
seminars. If you would like to learn more about the
